What is a Private Plates?
A private (or personalised) plate is any registration mark chosen by a vehicle owner to make their car unique. It can be a Prefix, Suffix, Dateless, or the newest ‘Current’ style. They allow you to show off your name, initials, a favourite word, or a special date.

How do I choose a good Private Plate?
Get creative! Try your initials, your full name using number substitutions (like 1 for ‘I’ or 3 for ‘E’), a pet’s name, or a significant year (e.g., a birth year or anniversary).
Are all letter/number combinations allowed?
